Hot Tamale - Vintage/ Hot Wound Set

Hand-wound with a special vintage-correct copper magnet wire, this calibrated set delivers the warmth and character of a classic single coil — with just enough extra heat to push your amp into something more alive. Whether you’re playing clean or cooking, the Hot Tamale responds.

The set is calibrated for balanced output across all three positions, and the middle pickup is reverse wound, reverse polarity (RWRP) for hum cancellation in positions 2 and 4. Prefer a standard wind? Just let us know at the time of order.
