The Hot Tamale Single Coil set is a vintage single coil style wind that's a little bit hotter. We use a special vintage correct, copper magnet wire that is meticulously hand wound for the absolute best in rich tone. If you like it a little hotter when driving your amp, then this set is what you are looking for! This is a calibrated set for tonal balance when selecting pickups.
Note: This set comes with a reverse wound, reverse polarity middle pickup for hum cancelling in the 2 and 4 position. If you would like your set wound without this, just let us know when you order.
