A unique pickup in the humbucker family with all the hum canceling except a brighter, more open top end. First available in 1963. The Firebird® pickup is a hybrid that bridges both worlds of humbucker’s and single coils. Some even call it the "perfect pickup." We agree, it just might be.
We chose to stick with the classic, vintage wind for these babies. True to the originals with just a touch of sweetening. Their versatility will keep you jamming until you can't "hoochy-koo" no more! The "Firebird" name is trademarked Gibson Brands, Inc.
